Jody began music when she turned 7. She began her career with classical piano and within a short time she started incorporating her own style into those classics. Early on Jody recognized her love for musical comedy and Jazz and found herself gravitating towards those songs because they touched her heart.

During the making of this c.d. Jody was working through some personal losses and found that these songs helped in her own healing. Her desire is to allow the listener to find himself/herself in these lyrics, to take a soulful journey of the heart.

Jody also expresses herself as an actress and has been in some t.v., stage productions as well as feature films. Currently she is in the filming stage of a new feature with Daryl Hannah, Irene Bedard, Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas, and Michael Madson.

Along with the feature, Jody is underway on a new c.d. with keyboardist/producer Freddie Ravel.
